A favicon is a great way to display more of your website’s branding and make it more identifiable to a user, especially if they are navigating through many tabs in their browser.
When creating your favicon, it is important not to make the icon too large, as it is still an asset that users need to download upon visiting your website. There is no need to make it unnecessarily big, as this can slow down the users browsing experience. On modern devices, the largest a favicon can be displayed is 195x195px, so making the favicon any larger than this is unnecessary.
